I recently stayed at The Desoto Inn for a relaxing vacation in South Florida. The hotel is clean and well maintained, and the ocean breeze was so calming. The owners were very kind and provided everything we needed for a lovely beach vacation. The room was comfortable and the garden added to the charm of the inn. The price was also very reasonable for the accommodations. I highly recommend The Desoto Inn for a peaceful and rejuvenating stay.
Couldn't recommend more this hotel.

Had such wonderful experience in September of 2007.
Overall - a new apartment not far from the beach, Miami, the boardwalk. Complimentary breakfast by their chef and affable staff. Rooms were huge. Loved every moment there.

The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and close to some great restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and at home during our stay. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and the attention to detail in providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
There were a few things that could have been improved. the staff sometimes took up table space that could have been used by guests, which was a bit frustrating.

The rooms had a cozy and attractive decor, and the atmosphere was serene. The smaller size of the hotel was a plus, as I prefer to avoid crowds. The location of the hotel was ideal, being only a minute walk away from the beach. The hotel provided beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels, making it convenient for a beach day.
There was a lack of staff presence upon arrival, which resulted in a 20-minute wait outside before someone arrived to give us the keys. It would have been nice to have access to bikes for kids.

Located in a beautiful garden setting, this hotel offers easy access to the beach and a variety of seafood restaurants and pubs. The rooms feature bamboo sheets, plush towels, and vintage furnishings, creating a cozy and homey atmosphere. Guests can enjoy the provided bicycles and explore the nearby vintage boardwalk. The uncrowded and pristine beach is just steps away, complete with showers and shade for added convenience.
The management and some of the other guests can be unwelcoming and intrusive, making the experience uncomfortable at times.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, as it is right on the beach and close to several restaurants. In addition, it is conveniently located near the Hollywood North beach park, providing easy access to outdoor activities and scenic views.
There is no mention of the breakfast options provided at the hotel, which may be a drawback for some business travelers looking for a convenient morning meal.
